This Certificate II in Security Operations Training Course; covers everything you need to know to apply for your Security Officer (Unarmed) licence and work in Airports, Shopping Centres, Retail Loss Prevention, Power Stations, Corporate Security, Building Sites, Industrial Sites, Patrols and much more.
Now with a Crowd Controller Upgrade you will also learn the skills to become a licensed Crowd Controller and work in Concerts, Major Events and other functions.

Pre- entry Requirements

Must be 18 years or age or older and have had no criminal convictions in previous 10 years to be eligible for a Security Providers Licence. Note. Driving offences (e.g. speeding, drink driving, etc.) are not normally disqualifying offences.

Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold an appropriate Visa to work in the Security Industry.

Sufficient Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills to read and understand organisational policies and procedures, write reports and communicate with others in plain English
Delivery and Assessment:
We offer students the flexibility of choosing between classroom delivery or workplace training. Assessment methods allow for the gathering of sufficient quality evidence about the student’s performance. Methods used include question and answer, observation and demonstration, and case study.
Qualification Structure:
There are 12 units to complete, 7 compulsory and 5 electives. Electives will be chosen at the time of enrolment. They must be relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and qualification level.
